Leonardo DiCaprio Being Wooed To Join Beyonce in ‘A Star Is Born’by Wilson Morales

In the latest story coming from Rumorville, Leonardo DiCaprio is the latest name being dropped as a co-star to Beyonce in Clint Eastwood‘s remake of ‘A Star is Born.’
According to Deadline.com, since DiCaprio is currently working on the J.Edgdar Hoover biopic, it’s being suggested that Eastwood is trying to lure him into the project.
Billy Gerber and Jon Peters, who directed the third version with Barbra Streisand and Kris Kristofferson, will serve as the other producers.
There was speculation some time back that Russell Crowe was once attached to the vehicle, no male lead has been given the light at this point.
Shopped around studios for years, many names were tossed around but nothing was set in stone.
If you have seen the previous versions that came out in 1937, 1954 and 1976, you know that it’s about an aging, alcoholic musician who mentors/is schooled by — and then finds romance with — a younger female star.
Beyonce has proven that she could be a leading star and bring in audiences, having done so with her last film, ‘Obsessed,’ which opened at #1 at the box office with a take of $28 million despite terrible reviews.
