According to TheWrap, Lindsay Lohan, who recently wrapped filming Lifetime’s “Liz & Dick,” is in talks to star in Dimension Films’ Scary Movie 5.
Set for an April 19, 2013 release, Ashley Tisdale and Erica Ash are the only actresses officially attached to the film, which will be directed by Malcolm Lee.
Lee will be teaming up and working side by side with director David Zucker (the “Airplane” and “The Naked Gun” franchises). Z
The Wayans Brothers started the franchise for Dimension Films until David Zucker came over and wrote and directed Scary Movie 3 and 4. Zucker is co-writing and producing Scary Movie 5.
In the Lifetime biopic “Liz & Dick,” Lohan portrays screen legend Elizabeth Taylor opposite Grant Bowler, who plays Taylor’s husband Richard Burton.
The “Scary Movie” franchise, which lampoons the greatest in horror and genre fare, has grossed over $800 million worldwide.
