Erica Ash is set to join Ashley Tisdale in Dimension’s “Scary Movie 5,” which begins production this summer.
Malcolm Lee will helm the latest franchise installment. Since coming under new ownership, Miramax has continued to work with the Weinstein Co. on select sequels, including the next “Scary Movie” pic.
Buchwald/Fortitude-repped Ash will play a friend and rival dancer to Tisdale’s character. Best known for her work on “MADtv,” Ash was most recently seen in the Broadway play “Baby it’s You.”
