Paramount Pictures has released new clips tp its WWII romantic thriller ‘Allied,’ starring Brad Pitt and Marion Cotillard.
Directed by Robert Zemekis from a script by Steven Knight (“The Hundred-Foot Journey”), cast members also include Jared Harris, Lizzy Caplan, Raffey Cassidy (Tomorrowland), Charlotte Hope (“Game of Thrones”) and Matthew Goode of “Downton Abbey.” Graham King is producing with Zemeckis, and Steve Starkey.
Pitt plays Max Vatan, an intelligence officer in 1942 North Africa who encounters French Resistance fighter Marianne Beausejour, played by Cotillard, on a deadly mission behind enemy lines in Casablanca in 1942. After falling in love and reunited in London, their relationship is threatened by the extreme pressures of the war.
Denis O’Sullivan, Jack Rapke (“Flight”),” Jackie Levine, Patrick McCormick and Knight are serving as executive producers.
Allied will open in theaters on November 23, 2016.
