Columbia Pictures has released some pics from the musical film Annie, which hits theaters on December 19, 2014.
Directed by Will Gluck, the film stars Quvenzhané Wallis, Cameron Diaz, Jamie Foxx, Rose Byrne, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje and Bobby Cannavale.
Producing the film are James Lassiter, Jada Pinkett Smith, and Will Smith through Overbrook Entertainment, and by Shawn “JAY Z” Carter, Jay Brown, and Tyran “Ty Ty” Smith through Marcy Media.
The Broadway musical “Annie” was based upon the popular comic strip and radio show, “Little Orphan Annie” and features songs with music by Charles Strouse and lyrics by Martin Charnin and a book by Thomas Meehan.
