Nonso Anozie Talks The Grey and Game of Thrones

Exclusive: Nonso Anozie Talks The Grey and Game of Thronesby Wilson Morales

January 23, 2012

Coming out this week is the thriller film, ‘The Grey,’ which stars Liam Neeson, Frank Grillo, Dermot Mulroney, Dallas Roberts, Joe Anderson, James Badge Dale, and Nonso Anozie.

Directed by Joe Carnahan, Liam Neeson leads an unruly group of oil-rig roughnecks when their plane crashes into the remote Alaskan wilderness. Battling mortal injuries and merciless weather, the survivors have only a few days to escape the icy elements – and a vicious pack of rogue wolves on the hunt – before their time runs out.

For Nonso, who also appeared in 2011’s ‘Conan The Barbarian‘ with Jason Momoa, the time to make a name for himself is starting come now. While the British native starred in the 2008 British crime drama film ‘Cass’ and has had smaller roles in Guy Ritchie‘s film ‘RocknRolla‘ and Joe Wright‘s ‘Atonement,’ working with Neeson and his upcoming work on television should bring him a wider audience.

In speaking exclusively with Blackfilm.com, the British native talked about his role in ‘The Grey,’ and his upcoming role as Xaro Xhoan Daxos in the second season of HBO’s acclaimed series ‘Game of Thrones.’
