Paula Patton joins Ryan Reynolds in Tarsem Singh’s Sci-Fi Thriller ‘Selfless’Posted by Wilson Morales

According to Showbiz411, Paula Patton has been cast opposite Ryan Reynolds in Tarsem Singh (Immortals)’s next film, ‘Selfless.’
Based on a script by Carriers scribes Alex and David Pastor, the sci-fi thriller focuses on a wealthy older man who discovers he’s dying and pays to have his mind transplanted into a younger man’s body. Turns out that body is a cadaver whose previous inhabitant was murdered. Soon, he’s hunted by killers as he tries to get to the bottom of who took him out in the first place. Patton will play of the younger man.
Patton can be currently seen on the big screen opposite Denzel Washington and Mark Wahlberg in ‘2 Guns,’ which opened #1 at the box office this past weekend. She will next be seen in the lead role to David E. Talbert’s romantic comedy, ‘Baggage Claim,’ which hits theaters on Sept.27.
A co-production between Endgame Entertainment and FilmDistrict, Selfless comes to theaters September 26th, 2014.
