WGN America has released some photos and a preview to episode 10 and the Season 2 finale of its hit series “Underground” which will air on May 10, 2017 at 10:00 p.m. ET/PT
In the season two finale titled “Soldier,” written by Misha Green and Joe Pokaski and directed by Anthony Hemingway, Rosalee (Jurnee Smollett-Bell) and Noah (Aldis Hodge) come face-to-face with Cato (Alano Miller) who proves once again that he only follows one plan – his own. Strategies change as Harriet (Aisha Hinds) is recruited by John Brown’s men, and Daniel (Bokeem Woodbine) makes a desperate plea to Elizabeth (Jessica de Gouw) and Georgia (Jasika Nicole) to help save his family, causing Elizabeth to make a drastic decision. Plans continue to digress for August (Christopher Meloni) when he’s left alone with the unpredictable Ernestine (Amirah Vann), while Patty Cannon (Sadie Stratton) becomes the victim of her own pursuit.
The celebrated “Underground” cast includes: Jurnee Smollett-Bell as Rosalee, Aldis Hodge as Noah, Jessica de Gouw as Elizabeth Hawkes, Alano Miller as Cato, Christopher Meloni as August Pullman, Amirah Vann as Ernestine and Marc Blucas as John Hawkes. Season two newcomers include Aisha Hinds in the pioneering role of Harriet Tubman, as well as Jasika Nicole as Georgia, DeWanda Wise as Clara, Bokeem Woodbine as Daniel, Michael Trotter as Biographer, Jesse Luken as Smoke, Sadie Stratton as Patty Cannon and Robert Christopher Riley as Hicks.
