Last night, Blackfilm.com attended the premiere and afterparty for the highly anticipated Tuskagee Airmen film, ‘Red Tails.’
Held at the Ziegfeld Theater in New York City, the entire cast and crew (Cuba Gooding Jr, Terrence Howard, Nate Parker, David Oyelowo, Method Man, Tristan Wilds, Ne-Yo, Michael B. Jordan, Elijah Kelly, Leslie Odom Jr, Kevin Phillips, Lee Tergesen, Andre Royo, Bryan Cranston, Daniela Ruah, Executive Producer George Lucas, Executive Producer Rick McCallum, Director Anthony Hemingway, Screenwriter Aaron McGruder, Screenwriter John Ridley, Soundtrack Terence Blanchard) as well as members of the original Tuskegee Airmen unit were present.
Among the celebs in attendance were Spike Lee, Tonya Lewis Lee, Latanya Richardson, Samuel L. Jackson, Angela Bassett, Aaron Carter, Tika Sumpter, James Earl Jones, Keesha Sharp, and many more.
