Rob Morgan Among Six New Supporting Cast Members in Marvel’s DaredevilPosted by Wilson Morales

Marvel Entertainment has recently announced six supporting cast members that will appear in “Marvel’s Daredevil” on Netflix.
Rob Morgan (“Person of Interest,” “Believe”) will play Turk Barrett, a smalltime criminal in Hell’s Kitchen who has previously stolen the armor of other supervillains (such as Stilt-Man and Maulred) to fight with Daredvil. Matt Gerald (“Avatar,” “Dexter”) will play Melvin Potter (aka the villain Gladiator), a machinist caught between a rock and a hard place. Interesting enough, Gerald also had a villain role in a previous Marvel effort as “White Power Dave” in the “All Hail the King” One-Shot.
Also, Peter Shinkoda (“Falling Skies,” “Hawaii 5-0”) as Nobu, a Japanese businessman with an agenda all his own; Wai Ching Ho (“Law and Order: Special Victims Unit,” “Blue Bloods”) as Madame Gao, a powerful woman running her own trade; and Nikolai Nikolaeff (“Camp,” “Sea Patrol”) and Gideon Emery (“Grimm,” “How to Train Your Dragon 2”) as Vladimir and Anatoly, two Russian brothers looking to forge new names for themselves in America.
“With an already tremendous cast, these six actors help to fully flesh out Matt Murdock’s world and give life to Hell’s Kitchen,” said Executive Producer/Marvel’s Head of Television Jeph Loeb. “We’ve been blessed to work with such amazing actors on this series to create a truly remarkable first season.”

Produced by Marvel Television and ABC Studios, with executive producers Steven S. DeKnight (“Spartacus”), Jeph Loeb (“Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.”) and Drew Goddard (The Cabin in the Woods), the series stars Charlie Cox (Matt Murdock), Deborah Ann Woll (Karen Page), Elden Henson (Foggy Nelson), Rosario Dawson (Claire Temple), Bob Gunton (Leland Owlsely aka The Owl), Scott Glenn (Stick), Vondie Curtis Hall (Ben Urich), Toby Leonard Moore (Wesley, Wilson Fisk’s right hand man), Ayelet Zurer (Vanessa Fisk), and Vincent D’Onofrio (Wilson Fisk).
An actor with many film credits, Morgan is best known for his roles in Pariah (2011), Full Circle (2013) and The Inevitable Defeat of Mister & Pete.
“Marvel’s Daredevil” will premiere all 13 episodes on Netflix April 10.
