Shemar Moore Returns as Malcolm Winters to “The Young and the Restless”

Shemar Moore is returning to Genoa City as Malcolm Winters on The Young and the Restless.

In the special celebrating the 50th Anniversary of CBS’ #1 Daytime Drama, Moore makes an appearance which comes 4 years after his last visit in 2019. The 2019 episode was also a special but in tribute of the late Kristofer St. John who portrayed Neil Winters on the long running series.

In the upcoming episode, Malcolm Winters returns to Genoa City in order to reconnect with his daughter Lily (Christel Khalil), stepson Nate (Sean Dominic) and his nephew Devon (Burton James).

Moore, who won the Daytime Emmy Award in 2000, made his debut as Malcolm Winters on the series nearly 30 years ago. He has also been awarded the NAACP Image Award for Outstanding Actor in a Daytime Series 7 times for the role.

Currently, Moore stars as Sergeant II Daniel “Hondo” Harrelson on the CBS series S.W.A.T and previously appeared on Criminal Minds for 11 seasons.

The Young and the Restless is broadcast on weekdays (12:30-1:30 PM, ET/11:30 AM-12:30 PM, PT) on the CBS Television Network and is produced by Bell Dramatic Serial Company in association with Sony Pictures Television. Josh Griffith is the show’s executive producer and head writer.
