Coming out on August 17th is ‘The Expendables 2,’ the sequel to the 2010 hit that stars Sylvester Stallone, Jason Statham, Jet Li, Dolph Lundgren, Randy Couture, Terry Crews, Bruce Willis, and Arnold Schwarzenegger. Joining the cast for this action packed adventure are Chuck Norris, Jean-Claude Van Damme, and Liam Hemsworth.

Mr. Church (Willis) reunites the Expendables for what should be an easy paycheck, but when one of their men is murdered on the job, their quest for revenge puts them deep in enemy territory and up against an unexpected threat.

For Crews, who returns as street-smart barrel weapons specialist Hale Caesar, the opportunity to work with action legends such as Stallone and Schwarzenegger is like joining the ‘Avengers’ of action stars. During the first film, the former NFL football player was probably the only individual on set who could handle the weapon he had in the film, the AA-12 auto assault 12-gauge shotgun, capable of delivering 300 rounds per minute and is considered the most powerful weapon in the world by enthusiasts.

Crews, who has his TV series Are We There Yet? on TNT, and is currently appearing on HBO’s The Newsroom, spoke with Blackfilm.com about coming back to this highly testosterone action flick and working with iconic figures.
