Thandie Newton To Star As Tyler Perry’s Love Interestby Wilson Morales

Thandie Newton, who last appeared in ‘Vanishing on 7th Street,’ will appear as Tyler Perry‘s love interest in his next film, ‘Good Deeds.’
Perry stars as Glen Deeds, an affluent and successful entrepreneur who’s about to get married when he becomes enamored by a down-on-her-luck single mom, who will be played by Newton, stated Variety.
Newton appeared in Perry’s ‘For Colored Girls,’ along with Janet Jackson, Whoopi Goldberg, and Anika Noni Rose.
In addition to producing through his Tyler Perry Studios, Perry will direct from his own original script.
Production is scheduled to start at the end of April in Atlanta.
Perry’s ‘Tyler Perry’s Madea’s Big Happy Family’ opens on April 22.
Newton recently wrapped production on the indie thriller ‘The Retreat,’ which co-stars Cillian Murphy and Jamie Bell.
