On this Valentine’s Day during Toy Fair 2015, all eyes and ears were one of the best lineup on the fair happens outside of the Javitts Center and that’s Hasbro’s 2014 Entertainment Brand Preview. There we get to see the latest coming from Transformers, Marvel, Star Wars, Jurassic World, and Little Pony, and Sesame Street.
First up were new figures from Marvel’s The Avengers: Age of Ultron. While the sequel to the 2012 blockbuster hits theaters early this summer, audiences got to see a batch on new collection of action figures from the film, including a figure doll of Mark Ruffalo as Bruce Banner as well as the latest addition of Ultron to the franchise.
We also got to see a figure doll for Marvel’s Misty Knight. If the Netflix series for Luke Cage takes off, expect to see Misty in that series as her character is more involved with his storyline.
With the Star Wars lineup, there wasn’t much to be desired since there’s nothing from the new film in this collection. There’s no way the filmmakers will allow Toy Fair to get a look at any product from Star Wars: The Force Awakens this early since the film doesn’t open til December 2015.
With no new Transformers film in the works, any latest figure dolls didn’t bring much of a fanfare as opposed to last year when Transformers: Age of Extinction was going to hit theaters and folks wanted a sneak peak at some of the characters.
Other toys on displays were toys from the upcoming Jurrasic World, and Little Pony.
