Amazon Studios has released the trailer to Season 3 of its hit cop series, “Bosch,” which returns on April 21.
Based on the novels by Michael Connelly, Titus Welliver stars as Hieronymus ‘Harry’ Bosch, a homicide detective who keeps finding himself in big cases. Also part of the cast are Jamie Hector as Bosch’s partner Detective Jerry Edgar, Amy Aquino, Madison Lintz, and Lance Reddick as LAPD Deputy Chief Irvin Irving.
Angered by the truths behind his mother’s murder, LAPD detective Harry Bosch struggles to find integrity in an imperfect justice system. The killing of a homeless veteran, the suicide of a serial killing suspect, and the high-profile murder trial of a Hollywood director pits Bosch against ruthless opponents who all threaten to destroy him.
With the previous showrunner, Eric Overmyer, moving over to be the showrunner on Man In The High Castle (but staying on Bosch as an executive producer), Daniel Pyne (Alcatraz) has stepped into his place. Also joining Bosch as an executive producer is Pyne’s frequent collaborator John Mankiewicz (House of Cards).
