TWC-Dimension has released the trailer for Gold, starring Matthew McConaughey, Édgar Ramírez, Bryce Dallas Howard, Rachel Taylor, Toby Kebbell, Corey Stoll, Bill Camp, Bruce Greenwood, Macon Blair, and Stacy Keach,
Loosely based on the Bre-X mining scandal, Gold is the epic tale of one man’s pursuit of the American dream, to discover gold. Matthew McConaughey stars as Kenny Wells, a prospector desperate for a lucky break, who he teams up with a similarly eager geologist and sets off on an amazing journey to find gold in the uncharted jungle of Indonesia. Getting the gold was hard, but keeping it would be even harder, sparking an adventure through the most powerful boardrooms of Wall Street.
The film directed by Academy Award winner Stephen Gaghan (Syriana, Traffic), with a screenplay by Patrick Massett & John Zinman, who are also serving as producers along with McConaughey. It is being produced by Teddy Schwarzman for Black Bear Pictures and Michael Nozik for HWY61.
Gold is set to open on December 25, 2016
