BBC America has released a trailer for the 10th Season of Doctor Who, which will premiere April 15 at 9:00pm ET/PT on BBC America. The episode will be followed by the domestic debut of the first episode of Class, a Doctor Who spinoff set at the series’ Coal Hill Academy. Peter Capaldi himself makes an appearance as the Doctor in the first episode, titled “For Tonight We Might Die.”

Doctor Who series 10 will be the third and final series starring Peter Capaldi as the Twelfth Doctor. It will also introduce Pearl Mackie as Bill Potts, the Doctor’s new traveling companion. Matt Lucas returns as Nardole, who previously debuted in the Christmas special “The Husbands of River Song” and who returned the following year for the most recent episode, “The Return of Doctor Mysterio.”

Mackie previously played Anne-Marie Frasier in “Doctors” in 2014, and most recently performed in the National Theatre’s West End production of “The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night Time.”

Doctor Who, which began broadcasting on BBC America in 2005, follows the Doctor, an alien from a race called the Time Lords whose home planet is Gallifrey, is created by Sydney Newman (The Avengers), and Executive Produced by Russell T. Davies (Torchwood), Julie Gardner (Torchwood), Steven Moffat (Sherlock), Phil Collinson (Coronation Street), Piers Wenger (How I Live Now), Beth Willis (Doctor Who Confidential), Brian Minchin (Wizards vs. Aliens), Caroline Skinner (Our Girl), and Mal Young (Desperate Scousewives).
