Open Road Films have released the first trailer for The Gunman, from TAKEN director Pierre Morel and starring Sean Penn, Javier Bardem, Idris Elba, Ray Winstone and Mark Rylance. The film will open in theaters on March 20, 2015.
An adaptation of Jean-Patrick Manchette’s “The Prone Gunman,” Sean Penn stars as Jim Terrier, an international operative who is betrayed by the organization he worked for, and must go on the run in a relentless game of cat and mouse across Europe.
Elba will portray a mysterious operative named Dupont.
