After a summer romance that comes to an end, the two fatefully reconnect several years later and find that their feelings for each other have never disappeared.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" data-expand=\"600\" class=\"lazyload alignright size-full wp-image-129951\" src=\"data:image\/svg+xml;charset=utf-8,%3Csvg xmlns%3D'http%3A%2F%2Fwww.w3.org%2F2000%2Fsvg' viewBox%3D'0 0 280 280'%2F%3E\" data-src=\"https:\/\/www.blackfilm.com\/read\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/02\/Eugene-Ashe-.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"280\" height=\"280\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>Eugene Ashe<\/strong> will direct from his own script. Cinematographer <strong>Declan Quinn<\/strong> (Rachel Getting Married, Leaving Las Vegas) has signed on to shoot the film.<\/p>\n<p>Thompson will executive produce the period drama, while Asomugha will produce through his iAm21 Entertainment banner alongside<strong> Jonathan Baker<\/strong> (The Banker), <strong>Gabrielle Glore<\/strong> (Dirty Laundry) and <strong>Matthew Thurm<\/strong> (Crown Heights).<\/p>\n<p>Production on the feature began this week in Los Angeles.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" data-expand=\"600\" class=\"lazyload alignleft size-medium wp-image-129952\" src=\"data:image\/svg+xml;charset=utf-8,%3Csvg xmlns%3D'http%3A%2F%2Fwww.w3.org%2F2000%2Fsvg' viewBox%3D'0 0 300 300'%2F%3E\" data-src=\"https:\/\/www.blackfilm.com\/read\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/02\/Jonathan-Baker-Gabrielle-Glore-and-Matthew-Thurm--300x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"300\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Next up for Thompson is <strong>Men in Black: International<\/strong> with <strong>Chris Hemsworth<\/strong> this June. She will also return for the third season of HBO&#8217;s <strong>Westworld<\/strong> and voice Lady in Disney&#8217;s live-action adaptation of <strong>Lady and the Tramp<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Asomugha produced and starred opposite Lakeith Stanfield in Amazon&#8217;s <strong>Crown Heights<\/strong> and appeared onstage in the off-Broadway play <strong>Good Grief<\/strong>.
