Senior vice president of production <strong>Sara Scott<\/strong> and creative executive <strong>Mika Pryce<\/strong> will oversee production for Universal.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" data-expand=\"600\" class=\"lazyload alignright size-medium wp-image-130723\" src=\"data:image\/svg+xml;charset=utf-8,%3Csvg xmlns%3D'http%3A%2F%2Fwww.w3.org%2F2000%2Fsvg' viewBox%3D'0 0 300 200'%2F%3E\" data-src=\"https:\/\/www.blackfilm.com\/read\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/Will-Packer-Productions-300x200.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"200\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Rae\u2019s film career has taken off following the success of her HBO series \u201cInsecure,\u201d which she also exec produces. Rae recently starred in Universal comedy,<strong> \u201cLittle,\u201d<\/strong> bowing next month and Fox 2000\u2019s <strong>\u201cThe Hate U Give,\u201d<\/strong> which opened last fall. She recently finished production on the Paramount comedy<strong> \u201cThe Lovebirds,\u201d<\/strong> which she also exec produced.<\/p>\n<p>Stanfield has also been active both on the big and small screen with his TV series \u201cAtlanta\u201d finishing its second season on FX last year. On the film side, LaKeith appeared in the critically acclaimed <strong>\u201cSorry to Bother You,\u201d<\/strong> as well as Sony\u2019s <strong>\u201cThe Girl in the Spider\u2019s Web.\u201d<\/strong> He recently finished production on Rian Johnson\u2019s<strong> \u201cKnives Out,\u201d<\/strong> the Safdie brothers\u2019 <strong>\u201cUncut Gems,\u201d<\/strong> and Netflix\u2019s <strong>\u201cSomeone Great.<\/strong>\u201d\u00a0Stanfield is also set to join his \u201cGet Out\u201d co-star Daniel Kaluuya in \u201cJesus Was My Homeboy,\u201d which will follow the rise and untimely death of iconic black activist, revolutionary and Black Panther Party member Fred Hampton through the eyes of the man who betrayed him.<\/p>\n<p>Meghie made her feature directorial debut with<strong> Jean of the Joneses<\/strong>, which earned her a first screenplay nomination at the 2017 Independent Spirit Awards. Her first studio film was the YA adaptation <strong>Everything, Everything<\/strong>, and her most recent film, <strong>The Weekend<\/strong>, premiered at TIFF in 2018.She is repped by CAA and Gordon
