Having spent most of her life exploring the jungle with her parents nothing could prepare Dora for the most dangerous adventure ever \u2013 High School. Always the explorer, Dora quickly finds herself leading Boots (her best friend, a monkey), Diego, and a ragtag group of teens on a live-action adventure to save her parents and solve the impossible mystery behind a lost Inca civilization.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" data-expand=\"600\" class=\"lazyload alignright size-medium wp-image-131022\" src=\"data:image\/svg+xml;charset=utf-8,%3Csvg xmlns%3D'http%3A%2F%2Fwww.w3.org%2F2000%2Fsvg' viewBox%3D'0 0 300 202'%2F%3E\" data-src=\"https:\/\/www.blackfilm.com\/read\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/Dora-and-the-Lost-City-of-Gold-1-300x202.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"202\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Moner is joined in the film by one of Mexico\u2019s biggest stars, <strong>Eugenio Derbez<\/strong> (Overboard, Instructions Not Included, How to Be A Latin Lover), who plays Alejandro, a mysterious jungle inhabitant who tries to protect the teenagers from the marauders. The film also features <strong>Jeffrey Wahlberg<\/strong> in the role of cousin Diego; <strong>Nicholas Coombe<\/strong> (Spy Kids: Mission Control, Midnight Sun) as Randy, a fellow high schooler who develops an immediate crush on Dora; <strong>Madeleine Madden<\/strong> (Picnic at Hanging Rock, Tidelands) as the school\u2019s snooty class president, Sammy; and Academy Award nominee <strong>Adriana Barraza<\/strong> (Babel, Amores Perros, Thor, The 33) as Dora\u2019s grandma, Abuelita Valerie.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" data-expand=\"600\" class=\"lazyload alignleft size-medium wp-image-131023\" src=\"data:image\/svg+xml;charset=utf-8,%3Csvg xmlns%3D'http%3A%2F%2Fwww.w3.org%2F2000%2Fsvg' viewBox%3D'0 0 300 200'%2F%3E\" data-src=\"https:\/\/www.blackfilm.com\/read\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/Dora-and-the-Lost-City-of-Gold-2-300x200.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"200\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>Eva Longoria, Michael Pe\u00f1a<\/strong> also star as Dora\u2019s parents. <strong>Benicio del Toro<\/strong>\u00a0will voice the infamous thieving fox, Swiper, with <strong>Danny Trejo<\/strong> (Machete) set to voice Boots.<\/p>\n<p>The film is produced by\u00a0<strong>Kristin Burr<\/strong>, who is joined by longtime Bobin associate, executive producer <strong>John G. Scotti<\/strong>\u00a0as well as executive producers <strong>Julia Pistor<\/strong> and Eugenio Derbez.<\/p>\n<p>Paramount will release Dora and the Lost City of Gold on August 2.<\/p>\n<p><iframe
