HBO has released pics from episode 2 of Season 8 of its hit series, Game of Thrones, which will air on Sunday, April 21. The episode, written by Bryan Cogman<\/strong>; and directed by David Nutter<\/strong>, and runs 58 minutes.<\/p>\n

Based on the popular book series \u201cA Song of Ice and Fire,\u201d by George R.R. Martin<\/strong>, the hit Emmy-winning fantasy series chronicles an epic struggle for power in a vast and violent kingdom. The ensemble cast for the fifth season included Emilia Clarke <\/strong>(Daenerys Targaryen), Peter Dinklage<\/strong> (Tyrion Lannister), Nikolaj Coster-Waldau<\/strong> (Jaime Lannister), Lena Headey<\/strong> (Cersai Lannister)\u00a0Aidan Gillen<\/strong> (Petyr \u201cLittlefinger\u201d Baelish), Kit Harington<\/strong> (Jon Snow), Liam Cunningham<\/strong> (Davos Seaworth),\u00a0Sophie Turner<\/strong> (Sansa Stark) and Maisie Williams<\/strong> (Arya Stark).<\/p>\n
