As this chapter draws to a close,\u00a0\u201cBEING MARY JANE\u201d<\/b>will bow out with the same authentic voice that resonated with fans and made them fall in love with Mary Jane.<\/p>\n

The\u00a0“BEING MARY JANE”\u00a0<\/b>series finale movie will resume with the fallout between Mary Jane and Justin (Michael Ealy) that closed season four. \u00a0While the question remains whether she has found the right man in her life, fans are also left to wonder if she will ever have a child of her own.\u202f\u00a0When viewers last saw Mary Jane, she revisited the fertility clinic to have her frozen embryos implanted\u2026\u00a0right before she comes home to a\u00a0surprise marriage\u00a0proposal from Justin!\u202f\u00a0Will Mary Jane say yes to Justin? Will she get her long-awaited chance at a family? Will she get her fairytale ending or will she reinvent what it means to live happily ever after? For Chestnut, this is the fifth time he’s been paired with Union, going all the back to 2001 when they played opposite each other in ‘The Brothers.’<\/strong> In the same year, they were seen together again in ‘Two Can Play That Game.’<\/strong> In 2004, Chestnut played a character ready to dump his girlfriend, played by Union in ‘Breakin’ All the Rules.’<\/strong><\/p>\n

The two headlined the 2007 Christmas film ‘The Perfect Holiday.’<\/strong> and while they didn’t appear in any scenes together, they were both featured in 2012’s ‘Think Like a Man.’\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

Now, judging by the trailer, Chestnut will once again play Union’s love interest in the finale. When asked about working with Union again, Chestnut replied, “It was fun getting back on set with Gabby. We hadn’t seen each other in a long time and just being back on set, it’s was like riding a bike. We’ve always had instant chemistry. I just respect her so much because she is so smart and intelligent. It was great.”\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

Of the projects they have worked on, he appreciated the first one, stating, “We’ve done a lot of projects but my favorite is The Brothers. It was learning her and seeing her from a young age grow.”<\/strong><\/p>\n
