She is a great leader and will bring tremendous energy to this project. Tim, Sharla, Will and I look forward to the collaboration,\u201d<\/strong><\/em> said producer <strong>James Lopez<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Plot details for the new project are limited, but the feature will center around the world of youth choirs. Gordon is set to write and direct. The story came from the Story Company\u2019s Tim Story\u2019s original idea, with an earlier draft written by <strong>Camilla Blackett, Jana Savage, Brandon Broussard<\/strong>, and <strong>Hudson Obayuwana<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" data-expand=\"600\" class=\"lazyload alignright size-medium wp-image-131648\" src=\"data:image\/svg+xml;charset=utf-8,%3Csvg xmlns%3D'http%3A%2F%2Fwww.w3.org%2F2000%2Fsvg' viewBox%3D'0 0 205 300'%2F%3E\" data-src=\"https:\/\/www.blackfilm.com\/read\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/04\/Director-Tina-Gordon-and-producer-Will-Packer-205x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"205\" height=\"300\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Lopez and <strong>Will Packer<\/strong> will produce <strong>Praise This<\/strong> through Packer\u2019s Will Packer Productions. Tim Story and Sharla Sumpter Bridgett are producing for the Story Company, with Universal\u2019s Senior Vp of production Erik Baiers overseeing the project for the company.<\/p>\n<p>Besides the previous Universal and Will Packer Productions project of <strong>Little<\/strong>, Gordon\u2019s writing and directing credits also include <strong>What Men Want<\/strong>, <strong>Crushed<\/strong>, <strong>Peeples<\/strong>, <strong>ATL<\/strong>, and <strong>Drumline<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Praise This<\/strong> is scheduled to arrive in theaters on September 25,
