Netflix has released the official trailer for director Gideon Raff\u2019s The Red Sea Diving Resort<\/strong>, starring Chris Evans the film will be available for streaming on July 31.<\/p>\n

Also starring in the project are Haley Bennett<\/strong> (The Magnificent Seven), Alessandro Nivola<\/strong> (American Hustle), Emmy nominee Michael Kenneth Williams<\/strong> (Vice), Michiel Huisman<\/strong> (The Haunting of Hill House), Oscar nominee Greg Kinnear<\/strong> (As Good as It Gets), and Oscar winner Ben Kingsley<\/strong> (Gandhi).<\/p>\n

The Red Sea Diving Resort is based on one of the most remarkable rescue missions ever, the exodus of the Ethiopian Jews from Sudan to Israel in the early \u201980s. Evans plays Ari Kidron, the Mossad agent who led the mission. The story begins in the late \u201970s when the spy agency was given an assignment far different from its usual cloak-and-dagger activities when it was ordered to help in the transfer of thousands of Ethiopian Jews who were stuck in refugee camps in Sudan and deliver them to the Jewish state. No stranger to action in enemy countries, the agency established a covert forward base in a deserted holiday village in Sudan and deployed a handful of operatives (including a team of Ethiopians on the ground) to launch and oversee the exodus to the Promised Land, by sea, and by air, in the early 1980s. The Mossad\u2019s Red Sea Diving Resort operated for five years and saved thousands of refugees and brought them to Israel.<\/p>\n

Evans plays Ari Kidron, the Mossad agent who leads the mission together with courageous local Kabede Bimro, played by Kenneth Williams.<\/p>\n

The Red Sea Diving Resort is produced by Aaron L. Gilbert of Bron Studios, Alexandra Milchan of EMJAG Productions and Gideon Raff himself in association with Creative Wealth Media, whose Jason Cloth and Andy Pollack serve as executive producers.<\/p>\n
