Williams and Brad James due for this winter, Mann Robinson of Metro Wealth Studios has been a consistent force in multiple industries ranging from music, film and technology. Earlier in his career, Mann was a musician. With collaborative efforts with hip-hop heavyweights such as The Game and Trick Trick, one would think his plight as a rising artists was destined. However, it was the tech world that he moved into shortly after. \u201cThat was really my first passion. I always had an entrepreneurial mindset. God gave me a gift to be whatever I wanted to be. So in 2008 when film and technology married, I was ahead of the curve by opening my first computer repair store, Geeked Up.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" data-expand=\"600\" class=\"lazyload size-medium wp-image-139003 alignright\" src=\"data:image\/svg+xml;charset=utf-8,%3Csvg xmlns%3D'http%3A%2F%2Fwww.w3.org%2F2000%2Fsvg' viewBox%3D'0 0 240 300'%2F%3E\" data-src=\"https:\/\/www.blackfilm.com\/read\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/10\/34305396_10155771182847893_3435192199996768256_o-240x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"240\" height=\"300\" \/>Furthering his entrepreneurial efforts, in 2014 he moved from Michigan to Atlanta and opened Metro Wealth Studios, his own film production company. There he started the Atlanta actors\u2019 workshop, a program he created for aspiring actors that take lessons from well known established actors. \u201cIt\u2019s Atlanta, these people are here. Tyler Perry is currently a great example of how powerful the city of Atlanta is. We\u2019re currently revamping things for January; everyone should be on the lookout for something great.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>With the success of his company gaining momentum, he went on to directing his first film, Slangin\u2019 Birds. \u201cIt\u2019s funny, I slated myself to be a producer, but once the original director stepped away, I filled that role and it just felt right on all levels.\u201d In 2017, Slangin\u2019 Birds went onto win two first place awards at the Orlando Urban Film &amp; Music Festival.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" data-expand=\"600\" class=\"lazyload size-medium wp-image-139004 alignleft\" src=\"data:image\/svg+xml;charset=utf-8,%3Csvg xmlns%3D'http%3A%2F%2Fwww.w3.org%2F2000%2Fsvg' viewBox%3D'0 0 300 200'%2F%3E\" data-src=\"https:\/\/www.blackfilm.com\/read\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/10\/Day3_068-300x200.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"200\" \/>Since Slangin\u2019 Birds, Robinson has produced a wide range of films including \u201cTURNT\u201d with Jamal Woolard, &amp; Torrei Hart, TV Series \u201cPower Corrupts\u201d with Teresa Celeste and horror film \u201cSebastian.\u201d What\u2019s next for Mann Robinson? The busy director is currently working on his debut book, The Truest Words I Never Spoke, slated for next year. \u201cMy advice to anyone wanting to make it in the entertainment industry is, find out what the industry needs or is gravitating towards. Find out what makes things move. Don\u2019t wait on anyone and don\u2019t be afraid to jump out there and insert yourself into the game.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Mann Robinson is on the rise. He is currently developing some amazing projects that will surely mark his place in the film industry. One of those projects is &#8220;The Soul For Real Story&#8221;.\u00a0 Mann, like most of us is a huge fan the hit song, Candy Rain, by Soul For Real.
