Now in Paris and the part-owner of a failing jazz club, Elliot is hiding from everyone. The character has an on-again-off-again romance with his lead singer. When his 15-year-old daughter Julie (Stenberg) suddenly shows up, Elliot has to face his weakness and learn to grow up. George will play Alison Jenkins, a sophisticated New Yorker, comes to visit her ex-husband (Holland) and daughter (Stenberg) in Paris, with complicated results.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" data-expand=\"600\" class=\"lazyload alignleft size-medium wp-image-139893\" src=\"data:image\/svg+xml;charset=utf-8,%3Csvg xmlns%3D'http%3A%2F%2Fwww.w3.org%2F2000%2Fsvg' viewBox%3D'0 0 300 157'%2F%3E\" data-src=\"https:\/\/www.blackfilm.com\/read\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/11\/The-Eddy-Joanna-Kulig-300x157.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"157\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>Joanna Kulig<\/strong>, star of the Oscar-nominated historical drama <strong>Cold War<\/strong>, will star opposite Holland as Maja, a beautiful songbird with a drinking problem who feels adrift and at the center of crossroads with no clear direction on where to go and has an on-again-off-again relationship with Udo.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" data-expand=\"600\" class=\"lazyload alignright size-medium wp-image-139894\" src=\"data:image\/svg+xml;charset=utf-8,%3Csvg xmlns%3D'http%3A%2F%2Fwww.w3.org%2F2000%2Fsvg' viewBox%3D'0 0 300 200'%2F%3E\" data-src=\"https:\/\/www.blackfilm.com\/read\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/11\/The-Eddy-Tahar-Rahim-300x200.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"200\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Executive produced by Chazelle, who will direct two of the episodes, and written by five-time BAFTA Award-winning and Olivier-winning writer<strong> Jack Thorne<\/strong>, The Eddy will feature dialogue in French, English and Arabic. Emmy-winning producer <strong>Alan Poul<\/strong> (Six Feet Under, The Newsroom), will also executive produce the Endeavour Content series, and original music will be written by six-time Grammy Award
