When 6-year-old Manny, the son she walked out on years ago, returns to her doorstep, Jackie has to conquer her own demons, face one of the fiercest rising stars of the MMA world, and ultimately fight to become the mother this kid deserves.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" data-expand=\"600\" class=\"lazyload alignright size-medium wp-image-140074\" src=\"data:image\/svg+xml;charset=utf-8,%3Csvg xmlns%3D'http%3A%2F%2Fwww.w3.org%2F2000%2Fsvg' viewBox%3D'0 0 300 233'%2F%3E\" data-src=\"https:\/\/www.blackfilm.com\/read\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/12\/Bruised-set-photo-with-Halle-Berry-300x233.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"233\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Anderson will play the owner of the female mixed martial arts league that Jackie Justice participates in. Canto plays Berry\u2019s MMA manager and boyfriend.<\/p>\n<p>Canto\u2019s credits include the acclaimed Netflix series <strong>Narcos<\/strong>, ABC\u2019s <strong>Blood And Oil<\/strong>, Fox\u2019s <strong>The Following<\/strong>. On the film side, he co-starred as <strong>The Sunspot<\/strong> in <strong>X-Men: Days Of Future Past<\/strong>. He currently co-stars as twins Anton and Dario in the 3rd Season of Amazon\u2019s <strong>Goliath<\/strong> opposite Billy Bob Thornton. Anderson recently completed filming AMC\u2019s <strong>For Life<\/strong>, which is a six-part anthology drama series about the intersection of love and science. Anderson also wrapped filming the Netflix movie <strong>Awake<\/strong> opposite Gina Rodriguez and <strong>Stowaway<\/strong> with Anna Kendrick and Toni Colette.
