To counter what Ara\u00fajo notes is the popular narrative of Fela as the \u201ceccentric African pop idol of the ghetto,\u201d photos, archival interviews and Moore\u2019s own personal conversations with Fela\u2019s wives, family and bandmates, bring viewers a seldom seen side of the revolutionary artist\u2019s life and music.
