Queen Latifah is in the title role as Robin McCall; Lorraine Toussaint plays her aunt.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The trailer for the\u00a0upcoming\u00a0film\u00a0<strong>\u2018The High Note\u2019\u00a0<\/strong>directed by Nisha Ganatra and written by Flora Greeson. The film stars Dakota Johnson as the ambitious personal assistant to pop diva Tracee Ellis Ross. The scheduled release date is Friday, May 8, 2020.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The TV adaptation of Octavia E. Butler\u2019s 1987 sci-fi novel,\u00a0<strong>\u2018Dawn,\u2019\u00a0<\/strong>about an African American woman called on by aliens to revive mankind after Earth\u2019s apocalypse. Gregory is underway.
