The first trailer and poster are here for \u201cBill and Ted Face the Music<\/strong>\u201d \u2013 the long anticipated and long in the works follow-up to iconic 1990s comedies \u201cBill and Ted\u2019s Excellent Adventure<\/strong>\u201d and \u201cBill and Ted\u2019s Bogus Journey<\/strong>\u201d. Starring Keanu Reeves<\/strong> and Alex Winter<\/strong>, the film is still scheduled to be released in theaters on August 21, 2020.<\/p>\n

The stakes are higher than ever for the time-traveling exploits of William ‘Bill’ S. Preston Esq. and Theodore ‘Ted’ Logan. Yet to fulfill their rock and roll destiny, the now middle aged best friends set out on a new adventure when a visitor from the future warns them that only their song can save life as we know it. Along the way, they will be helped by their daughters, a new batch of historical figures, and a few music legends \u2014 to seek the song that will set their world right and bring harmony in the universe.<\/p>\n

Joining Winter and Reeves are newcomers star Samara Weaving<\/strong> (Ready or Not) and Brigette Lundy-Paine<\/strong> (Atypical) as Bill and Ted\u2019s daughters, respectively. The film will also feature Anthony Carrigan<\/strong> (Barry), Jillian Bell<\/strong> (Workaholics), Kristen Schall<\/strong> (Toy Story 4), Holland Taylor<\/strong> (Gloria Bell), Kid Cudi, Erinn Hayes, Jayma Mays<\/strong>, and Beck Bennet<\/strong>. William Sadler<\/strong> is also set to reprise his role as Death alongside franchise returners Amy Stoch<\/strong> and Hal London Jr<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Cudi won a Grammy in 2012 and was nominated twice in 2010. On the big screen, Cudi has appeared in Need for Speed<\/strong> and the Entourage<\/strong> movie, and indies such as James White<\/strong> and Vincent N Roxxy<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
