The film is slated for an October 7th 2022 release.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" data-expand=\"600\" class=\"lazyload alignright size-medium wp-image-145007\" src=\"data:image\/svg+xml;charset=utf-8,%3Csvg xmlns%3D'http%3A%2F%2Fwww.w3.org%2F2000%2Fsvg' viewBox%3D'0 0 300 126'%2F%3E\" data-src=\"https:\/\/www.blackfilm.com\/read\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/06\/Spider-Man-Into-the-Spider-Verse-8-300x126.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"126\" \/><strong>Joaquim Dos Santos<\/strong> (Voltron: Legendary Defenders) will direct the upcoming sequel. He will also be joined by screenwriter<strong> David Callaham<\/strong>, whose previous credits include Wonder Woman 1984 and Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" data-expand=\"600\" class=\"lazyload alignleft size-medium wp-image-130772\" src=\"data:image\/svg+xml;charset=utf-8,%3Csvg xmlns%3D'http%3A%2F%2Fwww.w3.org%2F2000%2Fsvg' viewBox%3D'0 0 300 300'%2F%3E\" data-src=\"https:\/\/www.blackfilm.com\/read\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/Spider-Man-Into-The-Spider-Verse-2018-cast-300x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"300\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The animated epic took in $350 million at the box office and introduced Miles Morales as Spider-Man to a new generation. <strong>Shameik Moore<\/strong>, star of The Get Down and Dope, voices Miles Morales in the film. He is joined by <strong>Liev Schreiber<\/strong> as Kingpin, <strong>Mahershala Ali<\/strong> as Miles\u2019 Uncle Aaron, <strong>Brian Tyree Henry<\/strong> as Miles\u2019 father Jefferson, <strong>Luna Lauren Velez<\/strong> as Miles\u2019 mother Rio, <strong>Lily Tomlin<\/strong> as Aunt May, with <strong>Hailee Steinfeld<\/strong> as Spider-Gwen, <strong>Jake Johnson<\/strong> as Peter Parker along with <strong>Kimiko Glenn<\/strong> as SP\/\/dr aka Peni Parker; comedian <strong>John Mulaney<\/strong> as Spider-Ham; and <strong>Nicolas Cage<\/strong> as Spider-Man Noir.<\/p>\n<p>Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse was directed by <strong>Bob Persichetti<\/strong>, <strong>Peter Ramsey<\/strong>, and <strong>Rodney Rothman<\/strong>.
