Yes, there have been a lot of versions of Karen. You know Karen! Ok, just in case you don&#8217;t she&#8217;s the caucasian lady who called the cops on the little black girl selling lemonade. Or how about Karen who called the cops on the Blackman for birdwatching. It has happened over and over and continues to happen. Ok well anyway enough about that Karen. Wait until you meet this <strong>Karen<\/strong>! She is coming to a screen near you in a new film starring <strong>Taryn Manning<\/strong> (Orange Is The New Black).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Karen<\/strong>, a suspense thriller, tells the story of a white privileged caucasian woman living in the south who will do anything to get rid of her brand new next door neighbors who are African American and card holding members of the Black Lives Matter movement and will fight till the very end.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With everything going on in our world right now from COVID-19, Black Lives being taken every time you turn the news on, all the way down to the election. This is the time to speak out. Whether it&#8217;s through blogs, going out to protest safely, or teaching those in the world through film. Writer\/Director <strong>Coke Daniels<\/strong> gives an interesting perspective on race and social injustice in America. He chose to teach through his new film <strong>Karen<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I&#8217;m going to assume those reading this have seen <strong>Taryn Manning<\/strong> work. Whether it was in <strong>Hustle and Flow<\/strong> or <strong>Orange Is The New Black<\/strong> and she slayed every role. I can see her now bringing her neighbors Assata and Malik pure hell in this film. I have a strong feeling it&#8217;s going to go down in this one. This how you know it&#8217;s going down let me tease you with a little bit of what I know. Karen was caught on video harassing some black kids- Assata makes a video and it goes viral-one of the kids Karen was caught harassing is the son of a prominent Civil Rights Attorney-Now Karen is publicly ridiculed, as everyone now knows who Karen is &#8211; she begins to lose her status as no one wants to be associated with her &#8211; there is only one person who she blames Assata- and to top it off Karen&#8217;s brother is a COP!!! It just got real. I&#8217;m trying to tell y&#8217;all.
