He inspired a new generation to believe in themselves and against all odds to never lose faith. Though he is gone far too soon, he will never leave us\u2014 because true Kings never die.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In a statement posted on Chadwick Boseman\u2019s Twitter account Friday night, Boseman\u2019s family disclosed that he was diagnosed with colon cancer in 2016 and had been quietly battling the disesase ever since. The statement adds, \u201cA true fighter, Chadwick perseverd through it all, and brought you many of the films you have come to love so much.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Chadwick Boseman\u2019s dedication to his craft made an indelible impression on his fans and the entertainment industry.
