The film from Well Go USA, opened in 326 theaters ringing in $225,070 across the nation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>New Orleans is the backdrop for <em>Synchronic<\/em>, following two best friends Steve (Mackie) and Dennis (Jamie Dornan). Both paramedics, the pair answer calls to a series of accidents that are equally bizarre and gruesome. The two naively attribute it to a new party drug, until Dennis\u2019 oldest daughter suddenly disappears, it goes beyond that. Steve stumbles upon a terrifying truth about the supposed psychedelic that will challenge everything he knows about reality \u2014 and the flow of time itself. <em>Synchronic<\/em> is written by Justin Benson and is directed by Benson in conjunction with Aaron Moorhead. Both artists worked together on the movies <em>The Endless<\/em> and <em>VHS Viral.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mackie has a long list of credits to his fame including <em>Avengers: Infinity War<\/em>, <em>The Hate U Give<\/em>, and <em>Antman<\/em> &#8211; to name a few.
