Based on the original Eddie Murphy led <em>Coming to America<\/em>, the sequel is penned by Black-ish creator Kenya Barris and was directed by Craig Brewer. Audiences will be happy to see a lot of the original cast return like Eddie Murphy, Arsenio Hall, Shari Headley, Wesley Snipes, and James Earl Jones. To add to the list of notables, <em>Black Panther<\/em> stylist Ruth E. Carter served as the costume designer for the film. Executive producing are Brian Olive, Bradley Fischer, Valerii An, Kenya Barris, Charisse Hewitt-Webster, Michele Imperato Stabile and Andy Berman.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Set in the lush and royal country of Zamunda, newly-crowned King Akeem (Eddie Murphy) and his trusted confidante Semmi(Arsenio Hall) embark on an all-new hilarious adventure that has them traversing the globe from their great African nation to the borough of Queens, New York \u2013 where it all began.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Coming to America was originally released 32 years ago and has been solidified as a comedy classic.
