Lucas<\/strong>, the film tells the story of tightly knit friends as they sort out their turbulent life issues and love lives &#8211; always turning to one another to figure out their next move when jobs, romance or family interactions prove more complicated than they had ever anticipated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The cast of <em><strong>DON\u2019T WASTE YOUR PRETTY<\/strong><\/em> includes: <strong>Keri Hilson <\/strong>(\u201cThink Like A Man,\u201d \u201cAlmost Christmas\u201d), <strong>Deborah Joy Winans <\/strong>(\u201cGreenleaf\u201d),<strong> Redaric Williams <\/strong>(\u201cThe Yard,\u201d \u201cThe Young And The Restless\u201d),<strong> Jasmine Burke <\/strong>(\u201cSaints &amp; Sinners\u201d),<strong> Kaye Singleton <\/strong>(\u201cAmerican Soul\u201d)<strong> <\/strong>and<strong> Rainey Branch <\/strong>(\u201cBeing Mary Jane,\u201d \u201cGrey\u2019s Anatomy\u201d).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>After years of extreme career focus, Mykah (<strong>Hilson<\/strong>) finally stops making excuses and starts looking for love. Encouraged by her best friends, Mykah embraces the dating scene by taking their suggestions on speed dating, making online connections, and hitting the nightlife, but soon discovers love might be right in front of her. The series focuses on the world of the Greenleaf family and their sprawling Memphis mega-church. Deborah Joy stars as Charity, the youngest daughter and Minister of Music. The fifth and final season returned June 23. The Greenleaf Soundtrack and the single,&nbsp;<em>The Master&#8217;s Calling<\/em>&nbsp;went to no. 15 on the Gospel Billboard Chart and she was a Stellar Awards nominee for Best New Artist.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Deborah Joy released her single&nbsp;<strong><em>I Won&#8217;t Stop Breathing<\/em><\/strong>&nbsp;on all digital platforms July 2020. The song was written by family as a tribute to heartbreak.&nbsp; Deborah Joy says, &#8220;the song felt like everything I was feeling and wanted to say to the world.&#8221;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Deborah Joy starred in the Angela Bassett directed television movie,&nbsp;<strong><em>Whitney<\/em><\/strong>&nbsp;also portraying her real-life aunt, Cece Winans. She starred in the short&nbsp;<strong><em>Fighting the Battle<\/em><\/strong>&nbsp;and in the feature film&nbsp;<strong><em>Fragile World<\/em><\/strong>. Winans was a guest voice-over artist for several Grammy award-winning projects such as Mary Mary&#8217;s&nbsp;<strong><em>The Sound<\/em><\/strong>&nbsp;and Kelly Price&#8217;s audio book. Contrary, to her family&#8217;s musical legacy, she was passionate about acting and the singing came later when she was asked to act and sing in a church theatrical production. Deborah Joy received her BFA from Wayne State University. She also holds an MFA from California Institute of the Arts.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Deborah Joy previously toured the USA with the Women of Faith Conference to inspire and empower thousands of women through a weekend of bonding and conversations.
