Also starring in the series are Jessy Hodges (<em>Barry<\/em>), Alex Karpovsky (<em>Girls<\/em>), and Nate Torrence (<em>Hello Ladies<\/em>). The pilot is scheduled to begin shooting in Portland in May. <span style=\"color:#ffffff\" class=\"has-inline-color\">Wayans Star TBS Pilot Kill<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Kill the Orange-Faced Bear<\/em> is\u00a0about one man&#8217;s epic revenge journey after a bear eats his girlfriend.\u00a0Wayans Jr. plays Hank, the charming, funny and grieving man who&#8217;s hell-bent on tracking down the bear who attacked his girlfriend on a camping trip. The show follows Hank&#8217;s side of the story as well as the bear&#8217;s, who is just trying to move on from the incident and navigate the other idiot bears in her life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Jessy Hodges plays Stacy, Hank&#8217;s late girlfriend, as well Jamie, her twin sister with a confusing secret. Alex Karpovsky is Ronnie, an oddball park ranger who has a score to settle with Hank. Nate Torrance is Murray, Hank&#8217;s best friend and boyfriend to Jamie, who is just trying to keep everyone together.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Wayans not only stars in the series, but also serves as executive producer. Executive producing alongside Wayans Jr. is series writer Chris Romanski  (<em>Blue Mountain State<\/em>).\u00a0\u00a0Underground&#8217;s Trevor Engelson and Steven Fisher (<em>Snowfall<\/em>), Alex Karpovsky, and Jake Szymanski also serve as executive producers.\u00a0\u00a0Jake Szymanski (<em>Funny or Die<\/em>) is set to direct.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Damon Wayans Jr. comes from the legendary comedy family <a href=\"https:\/\/www.blackfilm.com\/read\/2020\/05\/marlon-wayans-producer-neal-h-moritz-teaming-for-romantic-buddy-action-comedy-ride-or-die\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">The Wayans<\/a>. The actor is most known for his role on ABC&#8217;s <em>Happy Endings<\/em>, for which he was nominated for a NAACP Image Awards\u00a0and\u00a0Critic&#8217;s Choice Television Awards. Wayans Jr. has also starred on Fox&#8217;s <em>The New Girl<\/em>, the film <em>Let&#8217;s Be Cops<\/em>, and voiced the character Wasabi in <em>Big Hero 6<\/em>. He can currently be seen in the Netflix romantic comedy <em>Love.
