It shows Franklin, the gospel prodigy and outspoken civil rights champion, who went on to become one of the world\u2019s bestselling musical artists of all time, with more than 75 million records sold globally. \u201cGenius: Aretha\u201d is the first-ever authorized scripted series on the life of the universally acclaimed Queen of Soul, Aretha Franklin. The eight-episode anthology will be rolled out, two episodes at a time, across four consecutive nights, beginning Sunday March 21 on Hulu and culminating on Aretha Franklin\u2019s birthday, Thursday March 25<sup>th<\/sup>. All eight episodes will be available to stream on March 25<sup>th<\/sup>. Additionally, don\u2019t miss National Geographic\u2019s podcast series\u00a0\u201cThe Making Of,\u201d\u00a0which will release the first of three \u201cGenius: Aretha\u201d themed episodes, featuring in-depth interviews with individuals from both in front of and behind the camera. The latest episode features the series\u2019 cinematographer\u00a0<strong>Kevin McKnight<\/strong>, costume designer\u00a0<strong>Jennifer Bryan<\/strong>\u00a0and choreographer\u00a0<strong>Dondraico Johnson<\/strong>.
