Fox Soul<\/a> has teamed up with\u00a0Black Enterprise<\/a> for a content partnership that will bring original programming highlighting black creatives, executives and cultural movers and shakers as they continue their mission to celebrate black history in the making. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The first original series from the new partnership is the Economic Equity and Racial Justice Town Hall, One Year After George Floyd: Has Corporate America Made Good on its Economic Equity Pledges?<\/em><\/strong><\/a>, which is set to premiere on the\u00a0platform<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0on Thursday, June 10 at 7 pm EST.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cPartnering with FOX SOUL to broadcast Black Enterprise\u2019s video content gives us the opportunity to expand our reach and continue to uplift, enlighten and educate audiences by telling positive black stories,\u201d said Justin Barton, Vice President of Digital Strategy & Partnerships at Black Enterprise. \u201cWe look forward to showcasing our Digital Web Shows, Virtual Conferences and Economic Equity & Racial Justice Town Hall Series to the FOX SOUL audience on a daily basis.\u201d<\/h5>\n\n\n\n

The premiere Town Hall episode in the series of seven is\u00a0\u201cOne Year After George Floyd: Has Corporate America Made Good on its Economic Equity Pledges?<\/em>\u201d. Hosted by Manulife, Black Enterprise\u2019s first special is a dynamic solutions-based dialogue, featuring the foremost leaders on corporate issues, business and social justice. Panelists will include CNN Political Commentator\u00a0Bakari Sellers,\u00a0Civil Rights Attorney\u00a0Ben Crump, Vice President of Talent Management at Manulife\u00a0Tara John, Founder of Black Executive CMO Alliance\u00a0Jerri DeVard, Infor Chairman\u00a0Charles Phillips,\u00a0and President & CEO Executive Leadership Council\u00a0Michael C. Hyter. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

In response to the brutal killing of George Floyd and the global unrest in its aftermath, corporate America has been challenged to confront systemic racism in the workplace as well as society as a whole. This session will focus on measures for Black advancement based on the series of corporate pledges to deal with past racial inequities. The initiatives include providing more opportunities for Black professionals in the workplace; increasing capital and procurement opportunities for Black-owned businesses; and ensuring corporate accountability to this renewed focus on diversity, equity and inclusion.
