And good thing because Calvin was chosen to compete on a tween reality\u00a0singing show \u2013 &#8220;Take Note&#8221; &#8211; and they&#8217;re going to spend the summer navigating the crazy ups and downs of\u00a0new friendships and competitions, while being thrust into the national spotlight.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The series\u00a0will introduce a new generation to Pop, R&amp;B, Country, and Rock classics along with originals by emerging musicians written specifically for the series.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Take Note<\/em> will star Braelyn Rankins (<em>Doom Patrol<\/em>, <em>Genius: Aretha<\/em>) as Calvin Richards, Nadine Roden (<em>Designated Survivor<\/em>, <em>Murdoch Mysteries<\/em>) as Calvin&#8217;s mom Bria Richards, Aadin Church (Broadway&#8217;s <em>Dreamgirls<\/em>, <em>Sister Act<\/em>) as Calvin&#8217;s dad Reggie Richards, and Sebastian Spencer (<em>Overlord and the Underwoods<\/em>) as Calvin&#8217;s brother Jordan Richards. \u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Take Note<\/em>\u00a0is produced by Lambur Productions. Creator Joan Lambur serves as Executive Producer.
