Emmy-winning actor\u00a0Glynn Turman\u00a0(Fargo, Ma Rainey\u2019s Black Bottom<\/em>) is the new face for Beyonc\u00e9\u2019s\u00a0IVY PARK<\/a>\u00a0denim line. The announcement was made via an Instagram video<\/a> the brand posted today. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The actor modeled the new western themed was filmed on Glynn\u2019s own IX Winds ranch in Southern California.\u00a0Glynn stars in the video opposite his granddaughter, Melinda. Turman\u2019s longtime passion for horses and showcasing the American history of Black cowboys and cowgirls made him a perfect fit for this campaign.\u00a0Turman is a National US Team Roping Champion finalist and in 2011 was inducted into the Western Heritage Multi-Cultural Museum\u2019s Hall of Fame. And this year\u00a0for Juneteenth<\/a>\u00a0he saw his lifelong work to bring the Black Rodeo to television realized on CBS.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The award-winning actor is coming off an incredibly successful year, winning Best Supporting Actor at the Los Angeles Film Critics Awards and netting an Indie Spirit Award nomination for his role as \u2018Toledo\u2019 opposite Viola Davis and the late Chadwick Boseman in\u00a0Netflix\u2019s Ma Rainey\u2019s Black Bottom<\/a><\/em>. He also co-starred with Chris Rock in the most recent season of\u00a0FX\u2019s Fargo<\/em>, receiving a nomination for Best Supporting Actor in a Limited Series for the role at this year\u2019s Critics Choice Awards.\u00a0The accolades come after his recent Emmy nomination in 2019 for Outstanding Guest Actor in a Drama for his role as Nate Lahey Sr. in the Viola Davis led How to Get Away with Murder<\/em>.\u00a0He quickly followed that up with a major arc on the most recent season of the David E. Kelley\/Jack Bender series\u00a0Mr. Mercedes<\/em>,\u00a0on the Audience Network.
