Reminiscent of the original 1990s film of the same name, the series, set in New York City, follows three divorced wives who come together after their marriages fall apart. They find solace in one another and seek a bit of revenge against their exes. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.blackfilm.com\/read\/2019\/11\/bet-plus-renews-first-wives-club-for-season-2\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Season 2 <\/a>of the hit original\u00a0raised the pressure and stakes for Bree (Michelle Buteau), Hazel (Jill Scott), and Ari (Ryan Michelle Bath\u00e9). While Jayla (Michelle Mitchenor), an old friend that&#8217;s new to the group, worked to solidify her spot in the crew and earn Hazel&#8217;s trust back. The newly minted quartet navigated the ups and downs of their professional lives and evolving romantic relationships through bonds of their friendship.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>RonReaco Lee\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0<strong>Mark Tallman<\/strong>\u00a0reprised their roles as Gary and David.
