SYNOPSIS:\u00a0<\/strong>Created, written, and executive produced by Oliver,\u00a0Harlem<\/em>\u00a0is a new comedy following four stylish and ambitious best girlfriends in Harlem, New York City, the mecca of Black culture in America. Camille is a popular young anthropology professor at Columbia who has an extensive knowledge of the dating norms of many cultures, but has a hard time navigating her own love life; Tye is a successful, queer dating-app creator who prefers keeping vulnerability\u2014and romantic partners\u2014at arm\u2019s length; Quinn is a hopeless romantic and trust-fund fashion designer who is trying to give back to the world while running a struggling business; Angie is a confident, vibrant, and filter-free singer and actress who also lives rent-free and fabulously with Quinn. ABOUT TRACY OLIVER:\u00a0<\/strong>Working in the business for nearly a decade, Oliver received significant attention in 2017 for the risqu\u00e9 comedy and blockbuster hit film\u00a0GIRLS TRIP<\/strong>\u00a0which made her the first Black woman ever to write a film that grossed over $100 million at the box office. This success translated into a string of films for Oliver including the comedy\u00a0LITTLE\u00a0<\/strong>(2019), romantic comedy drama\u00a0THE SUN IS ALSO A STAR<\/strong>\u00a0(2019), and BET\u2019s television reboot of 90s comedy,\u00a0FIRST WIVES CLUB<\/strong>\u00a0which just premiered it\u2019s second this year. Just this past March, Oliver signed an overall deal with Apple in which her company, Tracy Yvonne Productions will develop both TV and feature film projects for Apple, with an emphasis on diverse and meaningful stories.
