MUBI, the global film streaming platform, is celebrating Black History Month with the new series Cut to Black<\/em>. The celebratory film lineup\u00a0looks to the past, reflects on the present, and gestures to the bright future of Black cinema with,\u00a0featuring\u00a0an eclectic range of films showcasing Black artistry from both sides of the camera.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Spotlighting works by filmmakers like Oscar Micheaux, Garrett Bradley<\/a>, Janicza Bravo, and many more, over the next month\u00a0this program will also add\u00a0intimate avant-garde shorts from queer artist Edward Owens, a trilogy from Ghanaian-American filmmaker Akosua Adoma Owusu, and Raoul Peck’s\u00a0award-winning portrait of James Baldwin, I AM NOT YOUR NEGRO. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
