The box office for the highly anticipated Broadway revival of Ntozake Shange\u2019s <\/strong>groundbreaking for colored girls who have considered suicide\/ when the rainbow is enuf, <\/em><\/strong>directed and choreographed by Tony Award nominee Camille A. Brown <\/strong>(Once On This Island, Choir Boy<\/em>, Fire Shut Up in My Bones)<\/em> will open on Friday, February 25<\/strong>th<\/strong><\/sup> at 10am ET at Broadway\u2019s Booth Theatre<\/strong> (222 West 45th<\/sup> Street). <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Between 10am and 6pm on the day of the box office opening, patrons can buy up to two tickets to any preview performance of for colored girls\u2026<\/u><\/em><\/strong> for a special price of $20.22* <\/u><\/strong>each, to commemorate the rebirth of this beloved play on Broadway this spring. To take advantage of this offer, ticket buyers must present the code FCG2022<\/strong> in person at the box office or online at www.telecharge.com<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Booth Theatre box office will be open Monday through Saturday from 10am to 6pm. for colored girls who have considered suicide\/ when the rainbow is enuf <\/em><\/strong>begins performances on Friday, April 1, 2022. The fully reimagined production will open on Wednesday, April 20, 2022. Tickets are now on sale for the 20-week limited engagement at www.telecharge.com<\/a>. The show marks Camille A. Brown\u2019s<\/strong> directorial debut on Broadway. Brown, who served as choreographer on the Lucille Lortel, Outer Critics Circle, and Drama Desk award-winning 2019 production of the play at The Public Theater<\/strong>, will also continue in her role as choreographer on Broadway, making her the first Black woman to serve as both director and choreographer on a Broadway production in more than 65 years.   <\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n
