\u201cThe Last Days of Ptolemy Grey\u201d<\/em> stars Samuel L. Jackson<\/strong> as Ptolemy Grey, an ailing man forgotten by his family, his friends, and by even himself. Suddenly left without his trusted caretaker and on the brink of sinking even deeper into a lonely dementia, Ptolemy is assigned to the care of orphaned teenager, Robyn. When they learn about a treatment that can temporarily restore Ptolemy\u2019s dementia-addled memories, it begins a journey toward shocking truths about the past, present and future.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Also starring \u2019Dominique Fishback<\/strong> as \u2018Robyn,\u2019 Cynthia Kaye McWilliams<\/strong> as \u2018Sensia,\u2019 Damon Gupton<\/strong> as \u2018Coydog,\u2019 Marsha Stephanie Blake<\/strong> as \u2018Niecie,\u2019 Walton Goggins<\/strong> as \u2018Dr. Rubin.\u2019 <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Omar Benson Miller<\/strong> received an NAACP Image Award nomination for his starring role with Dwayne \u201cThe Rock\u201d Johnson in the half-hour dramedy series \u201cBallers,\u201d chronicling the lives of a variety of Miami-based athletes. Coincidentally, this marked Miller\u2019s first return to series television since Jerry Bruckheimer\u2019s \u201cCSI: Miami.\u201d He also had a starring role on \u201cThe Unicorn\u201d comedy series with Walton Goggins.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Miller created and hosted Esquire Network\u2019s reality travel series \u201cWeekend Fix,\u201d which he parlayed into #advantageOmar for Tennis Channel\u2019s Grand Slam coverage and created the sports-oriented O-ZONE podcast; all of which were produced by his Big Easy Productions. Additionally, he\u2019s appeared in Phillip Noyce\u2019s thriller \u201cAbove Suspicion,\u201d stars as Raphael in Nickelodeon\u2019s Emmy-nominated series \u201cRise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles,\u201d for which Netflix has produced an original film, and lent his voice to Nickelodeon\u2019s \u201cRugrats\u201d reboot.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He re-teamed with director Gary Fleder to star with James Franco, Jeremy Statham and Winona Ryder in \u201cHomefront,\u201d the action movie scripted by Sylvester Stallone, and also starred in Fleder\u2019s football drama \u201cThe Express,\u201d which tells the life story of Syracuse running back and humanitarian Ernie David, alongside Rob Brown and Dennis Quaid. He also appeared in the critically acclaimed film \u201cThings We Lost in The Fire,\u201d shining alongside Halle Berry and Benecio Del Toro. It was his first drama since performing in Jim Sheridan\u2019s film, \u201cGet Rich or Die Tryin\u2019,\u201d alongside 50 Cent and Terrence Howard.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Miller started his Hollywood acting career in the comedy, \u201cSorority Boys.\u201d The film was shot while he was still enrolled in film school at San Jose State University, where he subsequently was named best male actor of his graduating class. Immediately following graduation, Miller landed a highly coveted lead role opposite Eminem in the hit feature, \u201c8 Mile.\u201d The ensemble cast featured Mekhi Phifer and Kim Basinger.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Miller next showed his range by appearing in \u201cUndefeated,\u201d directed by and starring John Leguizamo. He then presented a lighter side of his talent in the romantic comedy\/drama \u201cShall We Dance?\u201d starring Richard Gere, Jennifer Lopez and Susan Sarandon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Miller garnered rave reviews for his work with director Spike Lee in the complex war drama about the historic Buffalo Soldiers in \u201cMiracle at St. Anna\u201d as the deeply spiritual and superstitious soldier Private Sam Train, aka. The Chocolate Giant. Additional film credits include Michael Bay\u2019s blockbuster \u201cTransformers\u201d and \u201cBlood Done Sign My Name,\u201d Bruckheimer\u2019s \u201cThe Sorcerer\u2019s Apprentice,\u201d with Nicolas Cage, and the title role of \u201cGordon Glass,\u201d a film which he also had the distinction of writing, producing and directing. \u201cThe Lion of Judah\u201d marked Miller\u2019s first foray into the world of animation voicing Horace, a pig.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
