Jackson<\/strong> as Ptolemy Grey, an ailing man forgotten by his family, his friends, and by even himself. Suddenly left without his trusted caretaker and on the brink of sinking even deeper into a lonely dementia, Ptolemy is assigned to the care of orphaned teenager, Robyn. When they learn about a treatment that can temporarily restore Ptolemy\u2019s dementia-addled memories, it begins a journey toward shocking truths about the past, present and future.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Also starring <strong>Cynthia Kaye McWilliams<\/strong> as \u2018Sensia,\u2019 <strong>Damon Gupton<\/strong> as \u2018Coydog,\u2019 <strong>Marsha Stephanie Blake<\/strong> as \u2018Niecie,\u2019 <strong>Walton Goggins<\/strong> as \u2018Dr. Rubin,\u2019 <strong>Omar Benson Miller<\/strong> as \u2018Reggie.\u2019<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Dominique Fishback<\/strong> is a multi-hyphenate talent whose work has established her as an award-nominated actress, a spoken word poet and writer on the rise.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Fishback was recently seen starring in the Academy Award-nominated film \u201cJudas and the Black Messiah,\u201d alongside Daniel Kaluuya and LaKeith Stanfield, directed and co-written by Shaka King. She was nominated for a 2021 BAFTA Award for her performance. Fishback will soon begin production as the co-lead on the next film in the blockbuster franchise, \u201cTransformers.\u201d She will star alongside Anthony Ramos in Steven Caple Jr.\u2019s film.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In April 2021, it was announced that Fishback had partnered with Oscar winner Jamie Foxx to adapt her one woman show, \u201cSubverted,\u201d into a new special. The special stars Fishback as Eden, an 18-year- old girl living in the inner city and depicts \u201cthe destruction of Black identity\u201d as seen through her eyes. Fishback plays more than 20 characters in the show and will executive produce the project alongside Foxx and his producing partner Datari Turner.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In 2020 Fishback was seen starring in the superhero film \u201cProject Power,\u201d alongside Jamie Foxx and Joseph Gordon Levitt. Her sensational acting chops are additionally highlighted in the series \u201cThe Deuce,\u201d opposite James Franco and Maggie Gyllenhaal, and in \u201cThe Hate U Give,\u201d opposite Amandla Stenberg.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In January of 2018, Fishback was named one of The Hollywood Reporter\u2019s Sundance Film Festival\u2019s breakout stars for her critically praised performance in \u201cNight Comes On\u201d for director Jordana Spiro, which won the festival\u2019s audience NEXT award.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In addition to acting, Fishback is a skilled spoken word poet and playwright. Her senior thesis at Pace University was a self-written, 90-minute one woman spoken word poetry performance titled \u201cSubverted.\u201d The production explored Black identity and existence in a system rooted in inequality from 20 different viewpoints and received praise from Gloria Steinem, David Simon and more.
