Jones joins the growing list of new strong female characters that will be featured in the second season accompanying <strong>La La Anthony<\/strong> (\u201cThe Chi\u201d, The Perfect Find), who was recently upped to a series regular, and \u201cBMF\u201d newcomers <strong>Kelly Hu<\/strong> (The Scorpion King, X2: X-Men) and <strong>Christine Horn<\/strong> (\u201cSnowfall,\u201d \u201cblack-ish\u201d). The first season of \u201cBMF\u201d debuted as the #1 premiere on the STARZ app last year and ranked as one of the most highly engaged series premieres ever.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Jones will star as Federal Agent Tracy Chambers. Smart and calculating, Chambers knows how to maneuver the bureaucracy that comes with carrying a badge. Years on the streets facing the most dangerous drug dealers have shaped her into a formidable hard charger. She suffers no fools and has a wicked wit to back it up.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Leslie Jones will join returning cast members <strong>Demetrius \u201cLil Meech\u201d Flenory Jr.<\/strong>, the son of Demetrius \u201cBig Meech\u201d Flenory, <strong>Da\u2019Vinchi<\/strong> (The Way Back, \u201cgrown-ish\u201d), <strong>Russell Hornsby<\/strong> (Fences, The Hate U Give), <strong>Michole Briana White<\/strong> (\u201cDead to Me,\u201d She Hate Me), <strong>Myles Truitt<\/strong> (\u201cBlack Lightning,\u201d \u201cThe New Edition Story\u201d) and <strong>Steve Harris<\/strong> (\u201cThe Practice,\u201d Diary of a Mad Black Woman). Snoop Dogg (Dolemite Is My Name, Soul Plane, Training Day), newcomer <strong>Arkeisha \u201cKash Doll\u201d Knight<\/strong>, <strong>Wood Harris<\/strong> (\u201cEmpire,\u201d Creed) and <strong>Serayah<\/strong> (\u201cEmpire,\u201d Favorite Son) star in recurring roles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cBMF\u201d is executive produced by Curtis \u201c50 Cent\u201d Jackson (co-creator of the \u201cPower\u201d Universe, \u201cFor Life\u201d), alongside showrunner, executive producer, writer and Detroit native Randy Huggins (\u201cStar,\u201d \u201cRebel,\u201d \u201cPower\u201d). Heather Zuhlke joins as an executive producer on the sophomore season with Anthony Wilson and Anne Clements set to return as executive producers. \u201cBMF\u201d is produced through Jackson\u2019s G-Unit Film and Television in association with Lionsgate Television for STARZ.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>About \u201cBMF\u201d<\/strong> \u201cBMF\u201d is inspired by true legends who rose from the decaying streets of southwest Detroit in the late 1980s and gave birth to one of the most influential crime families in this country. Demetrius \u201cBig Meech\u201d Flenory\u2019s charismatic leadership, Terry \u201cSouthwest T\u201d Flenory\u2019s business acumen and the fraternal partnership\u2019s vision beyond the drug trade and into the world of hip-hop would render the brothers iconic on a global level. Their unwavering belief in family loyalty would be the cornerstone of their partnership and the crux of their eventual estrangement.
