In celebration of Pride month, discovery+<\/a>, the definitive non-fiction, real-life subscription streaming service, announced it will premiere THE BOOK OF QUEER<\/strong> on Thursday, June 2nd. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The five-episode series, celebrating and recognizing the incredible history of the LGBTQ+ community, will be narrated by notable queer game changers including\u00a0Dominique Jackson<\/strong>\u00a0(\u201cPose\u201d),\u00a0Leslie Jordan<\/strong>\u00a0(\u201cAmerican Horror Story,\u201d \u201cWill & Grace\u201d),\u00a0Ross Mathews<\/strong>\u00a0(\u201cThe Drew Barrymore Show\u201d and \u201cRuPaul\u2019s Drag Race\u201d),\u00a0Alex Newell\u00a0<\/strong>(\u201cGlee\u201d) and previously announced\u00a0Margaret Cho<\/strong>\u00a0(“The Flight Attendant,” “Fire Island”). <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The socially impactful series will be supported by an entirely queer ensemble cast, recreating some of history\u2019s most notable moments, and over a dozen scholars of queer history. Capping off each episode, an original song and music video will be performed by queer artists including Betty Who, VINCINT, Shawnee Kish, Mila Jam and Kaleena Zanders.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
